  • If I am pregnant, can I still have Massage Therapy?"
    Yes, With pregnancies, some women suffer from lower back pain, neck pain and other muscular conditions. Massage Therapy can help relax the muscles that support the spine. Please call me if you require more information.
  • Am I a Registered Massage Therapist?
    Yes, I am a Registered Massage Therapist (CTHA). Complimentary Therapist Association
  • How long does a Massage Therapy session last?
    I offer 60 minute, 90 minute Massage and 120 minute, Therapy appointments at your location. This time allotted is for the entire time booked with the therapist, including any Client assessment.
  • Do I have to be in pain to have Massage Therapy?
    No, Massage Therapy can be used for relaxation and stress relief.
  • If I have pain and recovering from an injury can I have a Massage Therapy?
    Yes, but there are contraindications that needs to be taken into consideration when a massage should not be performed. If you have an acute injure its best to wait before you book a massage you may use ice on the tender areas to help reduce inflammation, once the pain gets better you may book your Massage treatment. If you decide to go ahead with booking a massage treatment book a Swedish massage or a relaxation massage, but not Deep Tissue.
  • Why does the Therapist tell me to drink water after my massage Therapy?
    Drinking water is good for the body, sometimes after massage you feel light headed and drinking water is good to help you recover.
  • How Often should I book a massage?
    At least every two weeks, but if your budget allows, you should treat yourself more often. Overtime, stress and bad posture can result in chronic issues like back and neck pain, poor sleep and low mood. These are all things frequent massage can improve.
  • Do I have to get undressed for Massage Therapy?
    Yes, for full body massage you will leave your underwear on. The patient is covered by a large towel or a blanket. When having a chair massage you will keep your clothes on.
